Dragonfly Summer in Interzone
My latest short story, Dragonfly Summer, is published in the new issue of Interzone (issue 215). Full info about the issue here. I love the illustration that's been done for it. The characters don't look the way I imagined them, of course, but it really captures the mood of the story:

Illustration for Dragonfly Summer, by Warwick Fraser-Coombe

There's a wee extract from the story on my website. The magazine should be in the stores any day now, but if you can't get it there, it should be available on Fictionwise sometime soon.

There are also stories by Greg Egan, Rudy Rucker, Joy Marchand, Jamie Barras and Will McIntosh in this issue. I haven't had my contributor's copy yet, but I'm really looking forward to it! TTA Press publications always look and feel fantastic.

Thanks, Dean.

By the way, I've been seeing lots of copies of your book in UK bookstores in recent days. (Personally, I prefer the US cover, but I think the UK one is good for its target audience, and it does stand out. :) )

Ah, cool. The book just came out in the UK last Monday. I have absolutely no idea how it's doing, although I've gotten a few very nice e-mails from parents. I have to say that I'm kind of a sucker for the UK cover -- I love the die-cut on the front. Reminds me of a pop-up book (without the popping up, of course.)

Congrats again on your success!
